5 Homepages

I’ve set this theme up to give you 5 different homepages to pick from. Even though I’ve presented the demo as a “blog” I want you to have the ability to turn this theme into your standard business and portfolio site if that’s what you’re looking for.

Option 1: Homepage #1 Template

To set this is as your homepage, you need to create a WordPress page and select the Homepage #1 template. Put your widgets in the Homepage #1 widget area and setup your Homepage #1 options on your Theme Options page. Then, set that page as your homepage by going to Settings > Reading > frontpage displays.

Option 5: The Blog

This really is more than one homepage choice, but to keep things simple, I’ll categorize all this under “option 5.” When you first install the theme, you will see the default homepage which lists your posts in a typical blog format. On your theme options page, you can configure how that blog feed looks. You can turn the slideshow on or off, choose whether you want full posts or excerpts to show, etc. You can also choose to show your posts in a magazine style format, which will totally change the look of your “blog” homepage.
